about me.
I'm Cosette Reyes (ammoniite), a designer, anthropologist, and biochemical engineer from Mexico, based in Valencia. My practice merges art, design, science, and experimental sound design, exploring themes such as the mind, evolution, and the human experience through video art, AI, 3D, motion graphics, and creative coding.
My work has been selected in two consecutive editions of the SMTH Art competition (2022 and 2023 +Niio Art), and several of my pieces have been featured in exhibitions and contemporary art festivals, including Punto y Raya, the abstract art in motion festival. I've participated in group exhibitions, including the Miradas y recorridos íntimos from the 10 Sentidos Festival (2024) and Portraits of Lives at LABA Valencia (2025).
I currently collaborate on creative communication, digital media, and community projects at LABA Valencia.
I had the opportunity to collaborate with House of Chappaz, one of the most influential contemporary art galleries in Spain. This experience deepened my understanding of curatorial practices and the dynamics of the professional art scene, while allowing me to contribute to important exhibitions both at the gallery and at national art fairs.
Nowadays, I'm developing margo, a platform dedicated to outsider art and non-conventional artistic expression.
